Food and your body

If you’re interested in eating a healthier diet, or want to overhaul your diet completely it can be difficult to know where to start. Making sure you have a balanced diet is key – cutting things out and depriving yourself isn’t sustainable and in the long run isn’t healthy. Plus if you’re cutting out carbs, you won’t have the energy to fuel your workout and you won’t see any results very quickly. Changing your lifestyle takes time and breaking habits can be hard, but if you stick to a good, clean diet and workout regularly you will see results, and more importantly you will be able to maintain your new lifestyle easily and you won’t feel like you’re missing out!

So when you do your shopping try adding in some of these foods to really boost the different parts of your body;

Brain – salmon, tuna, sardines, walnuts

Muscle – bananas, red meat, fish, eggs

Lungs – broccoli, Brussel sprouts

Skin – blueberries, salmon, green tea
