Running vs Skipping

We all know cardio is good for you and we should all be doing it, but there are lots of people who hate running, I get it, it sometimes isn’t fun. Whether you prefer to run on a treadmill or outdoors, ideally you should be doing it for 30 minutes, which isn’t always practical, especially if you live by busy roads, you don’t want to be risking your life every time you head out for a jog.

So if you’re looking for an alternative, that delivers the same (if not better) benefits then skipping is for you.

Skipping for 10 minutes gives you the same cardiovascular improvements as a 30 minute run over a six week period and it’s also a great calorie burner! And, just in case you needed another reason it also improves your speed, agility and endurance.

So if running is your usual go to for your cardio, why not throw in a skipping session instead and save yourself 20 minutes!
